What idiot would use csh or sh. : Everybody knows it all bash and tcsh these days. Of course : getting the port is simple enough, but even that is very painful : with no command history and no filename completion. Ha, csh : what kind of shit is that. Get with the program FreeBSD. I understand by reading that many people have followed up to this idiotic post, and for the most part my follow up will be worthless but I would like to voice in the next paragraph my opinion, not because I think anyone will care but because I can. To : Cameron Lampley I have now used FreeBSD on my PC for over 2 years, and where I do not consider myself a UNIX guru I do understand some of the basic principals. Now if I was on the core team (I am not, for various reasons, one might be that I dono jack! ;) I would have deleted your post, mostly because it is posted in a manner that tipifies American youth (I specify American youth because I dont know many other youth's other than American ;). Your brash manner will bring you, most likely no response and probably make your name (C. L.) associated with jack asses and the like. As I have a preference for the bash shell I would agree that it would be great to have it added by default, but if you are installing on your tipical machine, there are package options that will allow you to install while setting up the machine. Now I apoligize for the miss spellings in this post as I am a bit on what you might say the drunk side, but I had to dive in to the thread letting you know that this might have been one of the most offencive idiotic posts I've ever seen, and I am stating this not because it is the opinion of anyone in the FreeBSD project but probably deep down one of the members was dieing to say, "The person who posted this is prety much the dumbest person ever to post."
