Netscape (3.0, 3.01 e.t.c.) doesn't show
applets on my NetBSD1.0/XFree86-3.1.2 machine.
I'm 100 % sure that the classpath variable
is correct. Java doesn't even show if I
run Netscape remotely on a HP-UX machine,
displaying it's windows on my XFree86-server (I am
sure of the classpath varible here too...).
An appletviewer also crashes when it
uses the same XFree86 server. Anyone know
what's going on? The problem must be with
the NetBSD/XFree machine. I heard that
FreeBSD 1.5 couldn't handle java, and that
something similar may be the case with NetBSD1.0.
