Nothing was stopping you, at any time, from submitting changes to NetBSD. You simply chose not to. In another posting you mentions that you cannot keep up with the backlog of problem reports on your mailing lists now. In that case, I don't see how you would have been able to keep up with the volume of changes I am making now. Or the volume of fixes and improvements the other OpenBSD developers are making. I suppose the NetBSD camp wanted me to file 50 PR's a day that would never get resolved. -- This space not left unintentionally unblank. deraadt@theos.com www.OpenBSD.org -- We're fixing security problems so you can sleep at night.
