Well, guess what? One evening (quite by accident), I (the dumbass in question) ran Netscape as root. Doh! Now I can only run Netscape as root. Other users can open a Netscape window, but it is inoperable after the title screen. I tried de-installing, then re-installing Netscape (as well as removing the .netscape directory recursively), but the problem still exists. Does anyone have any suggestions.
