If it's just going to be a single-user machine, don't worry about performance of a SCSI drive over EIDE, IMO. I run IDE drives on my P90 and they do just fine (i'm even running Apache and INN). Make sure you set aside enough disk space for swap (at least 2*RAM, +25MB if you're going to run Netscape). 32MB RAM is nice and comfortable.
