That's what I'm doing. Wierd. I regularly play Xquake on FreeBSD machine using the quake .PAK files on my DOS partition. Could this be a hardware thing? I have never ever EVER had my drives trashed using the mount_msdos feature. (and I still use 2.0.5 on a regular basis.)
