During the makedepends for libXm, the system always seems to hang. I've tried waiting a long time to make sure I'm just not being too impatient. I can't even figure out a way to recover, I have to reboot. I can rebuild the kernel but I'm not very familiar with configuration of said thing. Originally I was trying to build with the straight kernel, lately I've started applying the patch kit. No difference. If anyone has modified Makefiles or Imakefiles for this problem, I'll gladly accept those too.
