I am currently using Linux as a server (DNS,POP-mail,ppp,slip...).And I would like to ask a few questions from all the FreeBSD users: What is the main difference betwen Linux and BSD ? How hard may it be for an Linux user to completely start using BSD ? What type of release packages are there available on the net (ex. Slackware96 for Linux) ? How stable is BSD compared to Linux ? Is there any good CD-rom releases worth of buying ? Where do I find the best applications on the net ? What do I need to download from the net to get a complete installation ? Thanks, Mikael Aalto FINLAND please also email me at: aaltom@parnet.fi
