I use FreeBSD 2.1.6 as distributed on Walnut Creek's CD-ROM.

When I try to start emacs, it complains that it cannot find
libgcc261.so.1 (or something like that, a shared lib called
libgcc*). The equivalent static lib is there.

How can I build this shared library, or where can I obtain
it?

TIA,

Christoph
