For at least a year, I've been unable to make the combinations of

	MacPPP/MacTCP and native BSD/OS PPP
	OpenTransport and native BSD/OS PPP

to connect or hold a session; everything works OK if the host side is
SLirP, or if the Mac side is InterSLIP.  Any suggestions on where to
start debugging?
