: Hmm. So what's your actual question?

I.e. "Please re-phrase your request for a suggestion, and include a
topic."

If you are asking whether or not you would be able to install and run
FreeBSD, the answer is "yes, probably". Would it be difficult,
frustrating, and time-consuming? Oh, yeah, it sure would. :) Is it worth
the time and effort? Depends on what you're trying to
accomplish...sometimes yes, sometimes no. It has a good beat and is easy
to dance to, so overall, I give it an 85. Does that help?

Is it better than Linux? Yes, by leaps and bounds. If you have trouble
installing Linux, you're screwed. In contrast, if you have trouble
installing FreeBSD, you're angry and frustrated for three days, and then
you figure it out, which may or may not make you feel better.
