BTW if I recall this correctly, the information bad144 gives you on its usage (bad144 w/o arguments) tells you to put the drive in the wrong place (I don't recall the correct order now) Try bad144 -v -a -c wd0 <blocknumbers> (or the wd0 in front of the -v) For the changes to take effect, re-boot your system.
