Message-ID: <1992Dec17.203556.28871@hippo.ru.ac.za> Date: 17 Dec 92 20:35:56 GMT Article-I.D.: hippo.1992Dec17.203556.28871 Organization: Rhodes University, Grahamstown, South Africa Lines: 20 Hi all, I got 50 MB on a second drive I would like to use for bsd. The drive is a ST1102AT (as recognized by the kernel). I set up a disklabel in a ascii file which should work. Now if I disklabel -R -r /dev/wd1a file I get a : /dev/wd1a invalid parameter wd1: no disklabel WHY ? HOW do I get the disklabel on there ? I tried the -w option with a predetermined disktype, no success. I had no problems disklabeling the first drive (10MB swap space). Thanks, Dirk -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Dirk Sturzebecher g89s9112@alpha.ru.ac.za Rhodes University Grahamstown South Africa
