Date: 9 Mar 1997 16:58:18 GMT Organization: University of Dublin, Trinity College Lines: 16 Message-ID: <5fuq7a$is2@web3.tcd.ie> NNTP-Posting-Host: alf2.tcd.ie X-Newsreader: NN version 6.5.0 #8 (NOV) Xref: euryale.cc.adfa.oz.au comp.unix.bsd.freebsd.misc:36802 I got the kaffe 0.8.1 port last night but when I tried to install it, it gave errors (in the Makefile): - it tried to create /usr/local/share/kaffe when it already existed. I got around this by commenting out the line in the Makefile. - INSTALL_DATA and LD_CONFIG variables are undefined so I replaced them with cp and ldconfig respectively. Are these errors problems on my machine (i.e. should I have INSTALL_DATA and LD_CONFIG defined in some bsd.*.mk file) or is it an error in the Makefile? Other than that the port seems to work fine appart from the fact that it doesn't understand different font sizes. Julian
