Hiya All,

I have been working on systems w/ various BSD os', but this is the first time that I have tried to
install a unix os.

Right now I have got FreeBSD v2.1.7 setup. No problem booting w/ the Boot Mgr between FreeBSD &
Win95.

Problems that I am having:

Client PPP: I think the problem is where the modem is installed (I'll work on this problem
tonight).

Kernel: I'm trying to remove all scsi references in the kernel, since I don't have any scsi
devices. But, when I start compiling it (make depend) the compile stops. I have to have some
references to scsi devices, it seems, but I would rather not have any.

Any advice for a newbie installer would be appreciated.
