Could someone provide the exact steps necessary to make
NetBSD use the same password scheme as FreeBSD. The FreeBSD I use
generates very long encrypted passwords (much longer than 13
characters).

My main motivation is that I would like to share password
files across the NetBSD (Suns) and FreeBSD (X86) systems.

	TIA.
