But that won't remain this way all the time.  There's rudimentary
support for sector sizes != 512 bytes, but it needs quite some
polishing.

Since these drives usually can handle either media type, i'd suggest
you start with 512 byte per sector media right now, with the option to
by the (more effective) larger ones later.
