I need to write or find an existing filter that will check
to make sure a file is color postscript before allowing it
to be printed. Since we only have three or four applications
that will do this I don't believe it will be difficult to
customize the program that does the checking.
The problem is I can't find any information on lpd or lpr
that I can use to help me create the filter.
The intent is to check the file on the local machine and
then send it to the remote machine were it will be printed.

We are currently running SunOS 4.1.2.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
