Are you able to get the 24 bit color in 758x1024 mode and the 16 bit color in the 1024x1024 mode? How much of a nuicance is it that you don't have access to the Mach32 documentation. I know that you know can get a hold of the Mach8 docs, but I don't know how compatible they are. Can someone compare the Ultra Pro to some of the S3 boards that do 24 bit color? I'd like to get a board that I can get the docs for, but I am also interested in performance. I will have a 17 inch 1024x1024 capable monitor hooked up to the system so I would like to be able to take advantage of it (Nanao 560i). Thanks a lot, Lars Fredriksen PS. as an aside, are there anyone out there that is running 386BSD on a MYLEX MAE-486-33? If so could you please contact me. I am having problems with the new bootblocks, and I would like to find out what the problem is. --
