Some time ago I saw a some messages on the freebsd-hackers mailing
list about Borlands screen handling library for their C++ compiling
being freely available and ported to FreeBSD/curses. I don't remember
the exact name, but I think it was called Turbo Vision or some such?

You should be able to browse the mailing list archive to find an ftp
address.

Hope this helps
Jacob.
