I find this amusing, as Rich Murphey (rich@rice.edu) is the 386BSD
representative on the XFree86 Core Team.  He answers most of the X queries
in comp.unix.bsd that are not specific to XS3 (along with Amancio and
David Dawes, in many cases).  And Rich provided the XFree86 1.1 distribution 
for 386BSD.

Please note - I'm not trying to take ANYTHING away from Amancio.  It's
just that Rich's contributions to XFree86, and support of 386BSD, are
very large, and tend to be completely overlooked.  Amancio has been
concentrating on XS3, and Rich has done ALL of the XFree86 work for the
last many months.  So please give credit where it's due.  Amancio's
work is great, but so is Rich's.

Amen to the former.  You will, unfortunately, get far too much argument
about the latter.
