I downloaded the mtools-3.0.tgz package from the freebsd site, changed
to my /usr directory, and typed
tar -xzf mtools-3.0.tgz
package seemed to decompress, and it wrote a bunch of files, including
bin/mtools
bin/mkmanifest
bin/mcheck
bin/mxtar
bin/xcopy
and bin/mcomp
as well as some stuff in man/man1. But when I try an mtools command,
like mread or mwirte, I get "Command not found".

Did I do this right? Did I miss a step? An email response is
preferred. Please help!
