You need to have a working gnat installation (from packages) in order
to compile gnat from the ports.

In FreeBSD 2.1.x the gcc 2.6.x is used and gnat 3.0.1 needs gcc 2.7.x

FYI FreeBSD 2.2 uses gcc 2.7.2.1, but the port has not been updated
yet, so its currently broken.
