In FreeBSD 2.1.x the gcc 2.6.x is used and gnat 3.0.1 needs gcc 2.7.x FYI FreeBSD 2.2 uses gcc 2.7.2.1, but the port has not been updated yet, so its currently broken. Wolfgang
