The most annoying thing, the ENABLE_STARTUP_LOCALE hack has : been introduced in 2.1. It has been diminished as a bad idea quickly : in the 2.2 branch, but that wasn't for security reasons, thus it has : been forgotten to be killed in the 2.1 branch. Even in 2.1.7?
