Balderdash.

I know exactly where I'm posting.  I'm posting to the same set of
newsgroups where the misinformation appeared.  The most appropriate
place for a correction to appear is in the same place where the
misinformation appeared.

My guess is that Roberto originated it from the linux.advocacy newsgroup.
