The harware Pentium 133 PCI and an ide 2Gb HD. Networkcard 3com 509. The leased line I have has 2 USrobotics courier modem on each side. So far so good. I compiled ppp into the kernel. So my machine is acting as a mail server to the internet. Everything works fine exept sometimes the ppp lines hangs. If it happends, logging in from the console is stil possible. Logging in from the network has a long responsetime. Logging in from internet is not possible. The only thing that helps is a shutdown. It happends about once a week. Has anybody seen this before??
