The company that I work for started selling a new product, it is a sub-surface radar unit that works under Windows for Workgroups. The saved files of sessions on the radar unit have the file extension *.rad. They have considered replacing their freebsd network with windows for workgroups because they have some program for it that was custom-made for the manufacturer of this radar unit. I need a program for freebsd, commercial or free that can manipulate this format that i have not heard of. I am going to try to contact the software developer (which probably isn't possible) and get the source code (harder yet) and port it to freebsd (as if it wasn't hard enough). If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.
