FreeBSD just USE it for something usefull... :-) > > Stephan "former Linux Friend, now knows better..." Fort > Newsgroups: alt.os.linux,comp.os.linux.misc,comp.unix.bsd.freebsd.mis I do most of the programming I have to do for school on linux I use it just about every day ~ Everyone I know uses Linux but maybe I will get FreeBSD and put it on my other machine to see how well it works. I just alway assumed that since free BSD was from berkeley that the daemon would always be asking for money and there would be lots of garbage between the xwindows and it would be hard to find place on the screen to park a window. I'm sure i'd get tired of the tie-die x-windows background real fast but i guess i could change that. Aren't all the commands in esperanto? I think there are a-lot of legitimate fears about using BSD. I don't think I could get used to locking directories to keep my programs from getting ripped off. -Fred
