Message-ID: <1992Dec22.131947.1@cua.edu> Lines: 23 Sender: news@netcon.cua.edu (USENET News System) Organization: The Catholic University of America Date: Tue, 22 Dec 1992 17:19:47 GMT I have two-partitions (MS-DOS 5.0 and BSD) and I have problems with exchange of files between these two partitions. Therefore Three questions: 1. Is there a MS-DOS program to read files on BSD partition. (i.e. to understand unix file structure) 2. Where can I find some documentation for mtools. There are no manual pages! 3. the command mread "c:autoexec.bat" (just for example) failed with message c: probable not MS-DOS partition. (I used standard fdisk from MS-DOS distribution.) BTW. Why file whatis.db is absent. It would be very usefull to have -k switch in man. Pavel Ganelin 48ganelin@cua.edu
