I don't think anything extra is neccesary, I have a 22100 that works
just fine:
wdc0: unit 1 (wd1): <WDC AC22100H>
wd1: 2014MB (4124736 sectors), 4092 cyls, 16 heads, 63 S/T, 512 B/S

Although it does seem to be a couple cylinders shy of 4096, I've seen larger
drives work fine. One problem I did have was when I made a 1gig partition,
I had quite a few errors, but then again, I mounted a 3.1 gig partition on
another machine without a prob. I shrunk them all down to less than that, and
they work fine.
