I'm sure I've read this message a number of times. It's considered
unethical to ask the same thing over and over without waiting a
reasonable amount of time for a reply.
As I said to one of the other posts (I forgot to Cc direct - sorry),
copy GENERIC and add the MAXMEM line only. If this works, slowly
migrate from this kernel to the one that doesn't work by adding one
line at a time and building and testing each time. If it doesn't
work, you've got a memory problem. Are you saying
options MAXMEM=262144
Doing the 256*1024 bit as LINT suggests may not work.
