I had a similar problem which was caused by alt.2600.414. The problem was that I had an article 414 in alt.2600 so when it tried to create the directory for alt.2600.414 it failed. So then, every time it tried to create an article in the 414 directroy it would fail, which caused to the server throttled problem. Curt Welch http://CurtWelch.Com/
