What you're comparing is free utils/programs versus commercially developped programs. If you've ever bought commercial software for Linux/FreeBSD, you'll noticed that the installation usually consists of inserting floppy, extracting the installation program via tar then running it to be followed by much floppy swapping. Or in Mathematica's case, just slap in the CD and mount it and run the install bin. Gee which is easier? They're about the same to me. Giao
