Is there a doc on kernel >configuration that I just haven't located yet?? Many of the parameters are set in a little file param.c that's created/copied into the compile directory when you run configure. Lots of them are dependent on the maxusers line in the configuration file, jacking up maxusers to like 16 or 32 is a good way to say, "bigger system". Other parameters that are calculated on the fly can often be overridden by putting an initial value in a global variable, but you have to dig into the source for that. >-- >Bill Gunshannon | de-moc-ra-cy (di mok' ra see) n.
