Using the command line ppp connects alright and mail,
lynx, telnet and ftp works, but whenever I try to download
a large file the connection freezes on the 16k, 17k, or
23k bytes or so and I have to close the connection. This
happens no matter what line speed it's set to.

Any clues on what I should do?

[The first thing I'm trying to do is download the 71k
lrzsz package; no luck.]
