Actually, there are a number of solutions. I've had experience with NTrigue, effectively NT with extensions that allow multiple users to log in simultaneously from UNIX boxes and get an NT desktop. It works, but it also points out the fact that applications that run on NT have faulty understanding of user and system security. And the per seat license fee is high. NT is truly horrible to maintain and support. Bad performance. Backwards compatibility problems. Less than intuitive system interface.
