I am having problems getting XFree86 to work. I am using an ATI Mach64 video card, with the correct server downloaded (and installed) from XFree86.org. I have run the graphical setup utility and made all of my selections. It tries to start up the X server, and it cannot. No error message is given. I have tried to start xinit from the command line, but it gives me a syntax error. How do I go about troubleshooting this? BTW - I am using FreeBSD 2.1.6 Allen Unrau Red River Community College aunrau@rrcc.mb.ca
