I just installed BSDI 1.1 on a PC (finally, if you saw my previous post :-)) with IDE hard drive. Installation seems to have gone just fine. But when I reboot for the first time (without floppies), I get the following message: loading /bootwd0: hard error: sector 16 status d0 error d0 : not found looping ... press reset Where did bootwd0 come from - I thought it was /boot (and that's what I see in /). What is going on? I did disksetup -B wd0 and selected 1 !!! Did anyone see this before. Can anyone give me a clue? Thanks, Murthy Nyayapati murthy@cae.uwm.edu
