I'm now running squid on a 2.1.7.1 system and it's now been up for 3
days without problems.

There were some problems that were caused by a bad memory SIMM and
possibly the 2940 but since the upgrade to 2.1.7.1 and the removal
of the bad RAM, no problems...

How often does you system fall over?
