Help!

I'm trying to use the FTP/PPP install option for the installer on the boot
floppy to install FreeBSD 2.2.1. My ISP (my university) uses PAP
authentication, but it's not as simple as dialing up and entering my
username and password at a prompt. This beastie tries to autodetect ppp
when it is dialed up. I don't know how to make this work with the simple
ppp activation system provided with the boot disk.

I've tried:
   -setting my authname and authkey
   -'enable pap'
-used term to dial up and attempt to connect-but i'm stumped at
autoconnect prompt

Any help at all? I'll check back here or email at rmarqui@bgnet.bgsu.edu

Thanks anyone who can help!
