Everthing works ok - execpt X11 :-( In the X11-environment the ld.so can't find any shared lib. But 'ldconfig -r' at console knows everything about the libs in /usr/lib:/usr/X11R6/lib:... Error-msg in .xsession-errors: ld.so failed: Can't find shared library "libXaw.so.6.1" ldconfig -r | grep Xaw\.so says: 61:-lXaw.6.1 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXaw.so.6.1 For none-suid/sgid-programms I worked around by setting LD_LIBRARY_PATH. So I can: - start xdm - login with XLogin - start xclock, wm, ... But NO xterm (suid-root)! Any ideas? Greetings J"org -- J"org Pichel |s |d &|m | software design & management | | | | GmbH & Co.
