Hi.

I installed FreeBSD on a pc and wanted to set up ppp dial to my
provider. It didn't work. So I tested the port with cu. If I type in
"cu -l cuaa0" I get the message "permission denied" and "line in use".
I wondered then there is nothing in use. What's the problem?

In "/etc/ttys" there are all serial lines "off". In "/etc/uucp/ports"
I have "port 0" and "port 1" for "/dev/cuaa0" and "/dev/cuaa1". That's
enaugh, or?

Please give me a chance and help me. Thanks.
