Ive been installing fbsd for a few weeks now using setup.exe and
installing from a dos partition. I finally swapped out the mediavision cd
drive for a sony cdu31a I had on the shelf and got to do a proper install
from the cd directly.

Everytime I have installed bsd, when it asks do you want to setup ppp now
I have always said yes, supplied the info, dialed out and finished the
install. Afterwords when I start a ppp sesion I shell back and so far the
best I can do is a no route to host error messgae. But after reading faq,
handbook, even latest on freebsd.org my setup differs from what I read.

I have ifconfig_ppp0 in my sysconfig and in my devices I have a ppp0 and
and lo0. I have seen no metion of this ppp0. Its not in the handbook or
the faq. What is it and should it be there? Oh and I do have tun0 device
also.

One other thing, when I do a ps ax I have a process listed as:
adjkerntz -l

What does this do?

Thanks!
