When I edit the passwd file with the new shell and logoff and back on I'm still using the old shell. The new one does not take effect. But if I delete the user and the readd the user with the new shell everything is just fine. Every other version of U*IX that I have used all I had to do was change the passwd file. Thanks in advance Jon E. Kump jkump@cyberusa.com
