The local CO, and I've talked to the people at the switch, is extremely _under utilized_ right now and all I'm taking up is one single little channel unit in an AT&T 5ESS switch which spends most of its time twiddling its thumbs. I'm the only ISDN customer in the area, in fact, and PacBell was MORE than happy to sell me this connection with full knowledge that I'd be using it as a dedicated connection. If the RBOCs can't support a service then they shouldn't sell it, period. Fortunately, Pacific Bell is more than capable of supporting this and I can only conclude that Bell Atlantic (if that's who this "b13c54v" person works for) simply doesn't have its act together. -- - Jordan Hubbard FreeBSD core team / Walnut Creek CDROM.
