It's not going to get a heavy load and it has the resources to make this work. However. . .the optiplex machines (no I didn't buy them) have integrated parts for sound and networking on the motherboard. I don't have any need for the sound but the networking is key for this. I know that this machine will happily handle linux but I would much rather use FreeBSD for the server. Does anyone have any experience with FreeBSD on the Dell Optiplex machines. -- Don't make me angry mr. Mcgee, you wouldn't like me when I'm angry. Colin E.
