The su command hangs after password is entered and ps shows "I<+ 0:00.65 su". This machine is running at a remote location and I am trying to avoid having to physically attack it with a hard reboot or console fiddling. If anyone can suggest a reason why su would sleep like this please let me know. BTW the system is not running kerboros and the -K option of su does not seem to be implemented. Thanks, Barry Friedman
