Skills required are as follows: 3+ years of full life cycle production software development experience on products that have been deployed to the market in a UNIX environment with C or C++ 2+ years of experience with developing network management applications for customer premise Internetworking devices, on industry-leading network management platforms like HP OpenView, SunNet Manager, or Cabletron Spectrum, using platform-supplied tools and application programming interfaces (API's). Detailed understanding of Internet network management, including the SNMP protocol and its structure of management information bases (MIB's). Experience in Lan/Wan network environment with device management practices, tools, and applications, as well as Web programming experience (CGI scripting, JAVA, HTML), desired.
