You should be having the adapter at bt0, not bt1 (unless this is your second Buslogic card). The 0x330 is the default port for the SCSI adapter. Perhaps you don't have it configured at 0x330. I do know that the second generation Adaptecs don't use an ISA port address (274x, 284x and 294x). I don't know if this applies to the Buslogic EISA, VLB and PCI Multimaster. : My hardware includes: bt-946c with scsi hd (id 0) and scsi cd (id 1), the : adapter is id 7. : I also heard that, after installing freebsd, i should compile my kernel : with pci version of the buslogic driver. But i didnt found any buslogic : pci drivers, only that for isa. Also my scsi-subsystem seems to be slower : than in a.e. linux. There is no PCI specific driver for the Buslogic (multimaster) SCSI adapters. They all use the same driver regardless of system bus architecture. : -- : Joonas Malminen -- /* | Spam violation - e-mail dumped... ** Internet: jca@accessnv.com | Don't blame me, I didn't vote for Clinton. ** jca@anv.net | (AMD Inside) Intel is the word for 'errata.' */
