Obviously, `things like' does not refer to an all-inclusive list. Please refrain from assuming otherwise. That's not so difficult. Unless you cite at least one readily verifiable example of this, you're making a baseless accusation. (Even if you find a single example, I'll guarantee that any list of such that you could find is vanishingly small.) Now, take note of this: independent parties can and do come up with identical changes, or nearly so, quite frequently. This has happened to me twice in the last year alone when working on a piece of the mac68k port that was similar to code in a different port. It's a natural consequence when people think similarly, or when there is an obvious solution to a basic problem. I strongly object to your insinuation that any NetBSD developer or developers take(s) OpenBSD changes wholesale and without attribution. Either prove it, or be silent. > You must be totally braindead if you don't realize [...] It's always good to know that the art of personal insults hasn't lost any of its charm. --scott > Cheers, > Phil PS - I find this closing pretty inconsistent with the belligerent tone of your message. You might consider editing it out next time you decide to do this.
